That's one of the best things about the open nature of Andor's Trail. If someone is fascinated enough by some loose end everyone else overlooks, she or he can write the next part of the story.

I'd rather give it back to Cithurn, though I'll make another save file incase I need to/can use it in a future quest.

If we allow you to give it back it will never be needed for a future quest unless there is a way to get it again.
