Andor's Trail

After opening the castle gate, I cannot seem to escape as I get swamped by castle guards. I've tried the main exit and the side exit with the 100/200 gp guy - both end up with me being killed.

Help! Am I missing something obvious?

Yep, they swamped me there too. Not as bad though as the trees prevent too many at once. I'll try there again I think.

The problem with the main exit is that the two towers are blocking my vision of what's going on. Unfortunately, the haystack didn't really help:(

It could be that your level is lower than is ideal for that area, there are definitely places that you don't want to go until your level is getting nearer to 40, it's not possible to be precise about this, it depends on your stats.

I'm level 25 so maybe there is the reason. Having said that, I did blackwater and that wasn't too bumpy a ride.

If (and I say if deliberately) I should be level 40 as you say, first of all I'm surprised as it's been ok at guynmart up to the point I'm at, and secondly imo there should be a warning ingame.

But I think I can get there as I am. Just need to use heal pots wisely.

Plus I've not save games earlier so it's boom or bust ha.

That's not what I said: but depending on your build and your stats there are places that you will possibly struggle at lvl 40, Guynmart is not one of them.

Sorry, misread yr message then.
Anyway, good to know I'm in the right lvl bracket.
