Why not have a sleeping bag

In the old days people used their pack as a pillow and a cheap blanket when they camped out. I'm surprised we haven't had this in the game. The use of such item could cost the user 13k and you would need to clear an area out to use it. .

Our hero is capable of "power sleepwalking". That's why he never needs to sleep unless he's injured. When power sleepwalking, he behaves exactly the same as when awake, but he's actually getting some rest ;)

I think as long as you can deliberately "teleport" to a bed by dying (which is never liked, personally), the should be limitations on where you can sleep, so that at least you have to use some strategy to do it effectively. Just my personal opinion.

Either way, since most mobs respawn, you'd have to be careful to not let someone lay down to rest just after one respawns, meaning you no longer are in a cleared location. Also, I think resting currently resets all the spawn areas on the map, so you'd wake up with everything back. These are both possible to code, but it's not trivial.
