I'm not gonna tag, but I will say your name. Rijackson I now know what you mean by the other option and how foolish it would be to go that route(late telling you this though) but I like the quest. And the weapon is pretty good to be honest.

Ok, so I did that, again, thoroughly. Re-examined every square and spoke to every person (and dog) on the east side of town. Apart from buying every item from every merchant there is nothing else I can think of to do. I even took you a bit more literally and went a few maps further east. Does the quest start in Brimhaven or somewhere else?

Check them again, and carefully think about every single thing sold by them. Do you notice anything odd out of the things sold by them? Something you didn't notice in previous updates?

This is how I started this quest unknowingly, the first time I played it.

Well, done that. I had already obtained a quest item and now have another one from the same source. But neither of them have started a quest or started off a quest log. Is the first step to find somewhere that I can 'insert' one of the items? I've had yet another look around Brimhaven and can't work out what to go with it/them.

The next clue would be available now. Talk to the people in brimhaven again.

I find this very frustrating that we're continuing to give away all of these hints to this awesome quest.

Only hint I will say is there is three ways to do this quest.
But I will respect you on this one.

3 ways? I thought it was a linear quest with parts in a set order. Is it possible to start the quest in different ways, or you meant to say something else?
