Introducing a poll to have a general sense of what type of quests the players of Andors Trail seemed most interested in playing.

If the players have to request any 3 types of quests that they want the developers to add in the future updates, then which types do they prefer.

The simple quests aren't all that interesting, but they are quick for us to implement, and are usually meant just to fill something. A cat and mouse game was added because there was nothing in the church bell tower other than the bell, and adding it was easy. Complex quests, such as A strange looking dagger, are more interesting, but they are also a lot of work to implement and test (we have to test every possible path through the quest!). So it's inevitable that there will be a mixture.

Simple quests are also useful to low level players, as a way to get experience. They are more interesting than just killing the same monsters over and over again :D

The new dagger has become a permanent stay for early levels. 4AP category felt so bland compared to others. It was a welcome change.
I understand the challenges a team has to face if there's not enough support from the community.
The feygard and nor city projects should certainly offer the variety more heavily focused on complex quests than simple ones, no matter the time it takes.

For all the updates in between, I'd welcome more items being added, be it weapons, potions, conditions or anything else than the quests. It kinda feels lacking in certain categories to experiment for creative playthroughs. More conditions being afflicted on monsters would be a game changer with couple of more rounds (>3) added to them.

Also, infinite type (simple) quests similar to the guy buying izthiel claws for gold could be added more in future updates with higher amounts of gold or interesting items with various levels of upgrade (ex: selling 200 izthiel claws unlocks a potion, or improve a weapons effectiveness, etc) to utilize all the variety of loot drops available in the game world.

Instead of one time quests more infinite type quests with simple conditions that can continue to offer players interesting variety of unlockables at different levels with various benefits would be the best middle ground until bigger updates are released.

Since the game takes a lot of grinding, I always felt the game would immensely benefit from infinite type quests that are rewarding in nature to make the process of leveling up more enjoyable!

Example: Bringing 250 bat wings each time unlock something cool that either offers an upgrade to existing items, or variety of rewards

I agree, infinite quests would be nice, but is it possible ? Like, a quest that is never really finished, that doesn't appear in the quest log... and it'd be nive if we could gain not only gold, but xp with infinite quests... because at higher lvls gold is not a problem anymore
