solving this i think
by using this before attack "minor potion of speed" +2AP(5round) ...too complicated.

Exactly. Was intended to be almost impossible to use.

I've used it for testing a theory, that with high enough stats and enough speed potions, you can kill the Nightmares with the Giant's Flail. I "cheated" in a debug mode of a development alpha in order to level up that high and give myself a stack of potions, so I can't claim to have done it "for real", but I did the combat by the rules, without using any further "cheats".

Someday I hope to do that for real in a game, just to know that I can. Now we all know that it's possible.

I use potion of haste while killing arulirs with the flail. It works perfectly, though you'd need high enough AC to minimise the misses, otherwise it's not going to provide satisfying results.

The important thing to note here is not to use the flail against high AP monsters. Arulirs, Trolls, etc are best suited opponents to try the flail due to their low BC/AP

Personally, I think AC should be reduced to either 13 or 12.

It's deliberately set so you cannot use it without potions, no matter what gear or skills you have.

I got curious & blew the dust off some potions, then tried this weapon out...

Wow.

It felt really good killing demonic arilurs in one turn :D

It would be nice to be able to use this without potions later in the game via a +1AP amulet , assuming the plan is for the competition to stiffen as we get closer to Feygard & Nor City..

I would love to see more almost impossible weapons introduced. This one is very cool.

Also, Giants flail is a 1 handed weapon. Dual wielding with another high damage modifier would give stunning damage results.

Unfortunately, the game currently has this bad habit of reducing excess damage when dualwielding a high DM weapon.
