I wouldn't advise getting too strong. Don't go past level 60ish.
Just start a new character with a different type of build

Anyone here with a lvl 60 permadeth monk on a no drinks no calories diet who did a full playthrough including sullengard?

This kind of build dies (alt least in my world) faster than a fly in a cave full of bats.
