Same here, never editted my old saves, still cant load them. I am for sure not spending again around 70 hours to get where i am right now. But i did notice that I can load my hard mode char on which i spent like 1h. I also have a working save of my primary char 5 lvls lower than what he is, right before i got legendary helm...
I have to apologize because my theory was wrong. But don't worry because Nut had found the reason for some save games that can't be loaded.

I'm thinkg a item name was changed i.e black sword becomes dark lord sword

Yes, could be... could be stats of some item as well perhaps. Anyways, is hotfix out? Or do we know when it will be out?

This sounds an awful lot like something I would hear from a project manager and not from someone who's enjoying a free game.

Hi guys just downloaded the beta2 to my Android 11 and my game keeps crashing I think , the app goes back to the title screen by its self about 20-30 secs into the game
