Now, I have a question. How do I open the locked chest in the mine near the confused Feygard guard?

My guess would be with a key.
But seriously, you can't at this time. Maybe in the future release?

I think I finished the quest. I rescued the general and met him in the next room from Arghest to settle the debt. However, when I talk to Jern, he still urges me to BWM to find the general? Is there something else I miss?

Maybe Jern just doesn't know that?

There are older quests e g. in Fallhaven with a similar behavior, so don't judge it too hard

It may be best if the quest ends by telling Jern what happened to his friends? Kind of like tying the loose end.

Good idea. Maybe not with a quest step - this might get complex and break other things, but we could change Jern's dialogue at the end

I've not completed the BWM/Prim quest cause the limbo problem...
It is situation blocking the Climb up is forbidden quest?
Why this quest is blocked (for users not playing with permadeath)? I'm on level 51, visited all and done all quest: start to be boring...
