Unarmed fighting

Does anyone knows if spiked gloves works with unarmed fighting? I know it's a weapon but it'd be interesting to have actually something to use.
"Unarmed Fighting", by the given short detail, "Better at fighting without weapons."
While "Spiked Gloves" is categorized as "gauntlet", still it is listed as a weapon.
Ergo, "Spiked Gloves" will NOT work with unarmed fighting.
