Changes to AC, BC or DR when leveling ul

I feel BC and DR should be increased to +5, +2/3 when leveling up.

The current +5, +3, +1 format of AC, BC, DR when leveling up feels too limited to spend points for different styles of play.

For example: I can easily ignore spebding points on DR as long as the rings or gloves are effective. Easy to ignore for first 20 levels. This leaves enough room to build AC, or BC, or both. But, the problem starts post Level 20 when the experience gains becomes slower while the difficulty spike starts getting high outside the starting areas when monsters are better in both DR and AP/attack.

This means I've to spend time into awful amount of grinding for gaining enough levels to be able to beat monsters without relying too much on reload/potion gulping fest.

While the pace at which AC/BC increase is still comparatively slow when you compare with the monsters levels.

If I go purely DR based build early on then it's the best way to reduce grinding at higher levels and enter into tougher zones past L20+

This essentially makes DR as the preferred route in the early stages (at least, first 10/12 levels).

If I try to spread the points across all three then it's going to make the game in a never-ending exercise of grinding, since the slow pace of leveling up also makes grinding a but difficult outside the starting areas to survive the battles.

Solution?

1. Bring BC at par with AC i.e. +5 for both on leveling up.
2. Bring DR to +2. Keeping AC, BC the same
Or,
3. Change all AC, BC, DR to +5, +5, +2

I agree with BC being changed to +5 because "tank" builds are vastly underperformant and weak compared to a high AC build.
I have a number of tank type builds and a number of high AC builds. There is absolutely no comparison. The high AC build kicks the other one's you know what.

Now when I comes to DR, there is no way we're going to change this. DR is very powerful especially during the beginning stages of the game.

Please do change BC to +5, that'd be great!

Regarding DR. Is it possible to bring an increased fortitude style leveling up?

For ex;
L1-10 - 1
L11-20 - 2 OR L30 onwards - +2?
..

I feel DR should be increased but it can be pushed for higher levels as a bonus for either completing all quests, or crossing L30 or higher.

Or, give level restriction on eqs and give higher eqs higher DR.

The level up stats were discussed, at length, a long time ago. I can't be bothered to try and find the thread though. I am reluctant to change them, and as Antison says, there is no way we will increase DR.

What about adding a sepperate skill called "Adapting technique"?
that would be especially helpful for tanks in longer battles

AT 1/2
5x (+3 ac ,+3 bc and +5% crit) to a max of
+15ac +15bc +25%crit after 5 rounds until next battle
AT 2/2
5x (+6ac, +6bc and +10% crit) to a max of
+30ac +30bc +50%crit after 5 rounds...

1-3
+1 +1 +3% (30% Chance for a stack) at lvl 10
+3 +3 +6% (50% Chance for a stack) at lvl 20
+5 +5 +10% (50% Chance for a stack) at lvl 30

or even this
1/3
+5ac/round (50% Chance for a stack) needs WeaponAcc 1
2/3 previous and
+5bc/round (50% Chance for a stack) needs Dodge 1
3/3 previous and
+10% crit/round (30% Chance for a stack) needs More crits 1

all stackable 5 times to a max of +25/+25/+50%

the best about this skill would be its name: AT

A skill that would make a tank more tanky and lets him do more damage in a battle the longer the battle goes, something that Stacks (maybe without a %chance to go up). I would call it "adepting/adjusting techniques" because the char learns movement and weakness of the enemy he fights which makes attacking, blocking and critting easier over time.

Skillevel 1 gain ac+3/bc+3/critchance+5% each round
Round 1 +0/+0+0%
Round 2 +3/+3/+5%
Round 3 +6/+6/+10%
Round 4 +9/+9/+15%
Round 5 +12/+12/+20%
Round 6 until battle ends +15/+15/+25%

Skilllevel 2 gain ac+5/bc+5/critchance+10% each round
Round 1 +0/+0+0%
Round 2 +5/+5/+10%
Round 3 +10/+10/+20%
Round 4 +15/+15/+30%
Round 5 +20/+20/+40%
Round 6 until battle ends +25/+25/+50%

Or

At skilllevel 1 (attackchance only) gain ac+5 each round (with preskill weaponaccuracy 1 and charlevel 10) (
At skilllevel 2 (attackchance and blockchance) gain ac+5/bc+5 each round (with preskill dodge 1 and charlevel 20)
At skilllevel 3 (attackchance, blockchance and critchance) gain ac+5/bc+5/critchance+10% each round (with preskill more crits and charlevel 30)

All up to a maximum Bonus of
Skilllevel 1 ac+25
Skilllevel 2 ac+25/bc+25
Skilllevel 3 ac+25/bc+25/critchance+50%

I fail to understand why you are always opppsed to any change. If not DR then at least bring BC at par with AC.

It is slowly going to turn players away from the game if valid suggestions based on logical shortcomings are not taken into consideration
