New version using SAF

Ive been playing this game for years, so I have a question.
I've recently upgraded to Android 12, Does the new update on the Play Store incorporate the new SAF protocals?
I've been having a tine dealing with apps from Android 7 to Android 12!

OP is probably talking about Scoped Storage that was made mandatory for apps targeting Android 11 and above. See

To the user, the file manager sort of shows this new approach as "Storage Access Framework". That's what OP probably meant, but used the acronym SAF.
