Restore of old (ancient) saved games

Hi,

I played andors trail a few years ago and still have some old saved games (datin back from 2018). As I already had some items (especially ROLS) I'd like to restore the old saved games.

So I guess it would not be possible to use them directly in a recent version of andros trail. So probably it would work to install an old version of andors trail and then do all the updates since then until I reach the actual version? Any short cut for this?

Can I see which version of andors trail the saved games belong to?

You should have no problem loading an old save into the new version

It depends on the Android version:

If you see in the game after "Load" a button "Import Savegames" then use this to find and choose your old saves. (Also use "Import worldmaps")

If you don't see these buttons, you have an older Android which expects the savegames just in the usual directory.
If that's the case and you need help here, just write again.

You don't see under which version a savegame was created, but every old savegame can be loaded with a newer game version

As I am curious about how things are done: Do you happen to know how the worldmap thingie works on importing stuff? So, what is imported from the worldmap file? Probably only the information where one has been and nothing of the real map itself? Just wondering now that I restored the old worldmap file, what happens to places where I had been before but that changed in the game development in between...

Anyway, everything seems to work fine... Didn't think that this would be so easy. And I don't have to kill thousands of monsters to get ROLS again.

You see the worldmap in the state as when you were on the single maps last time.
If we changed a map, you'll have to revisit the map to get the current view.
