in the thief apprentice quest I'm supposed to bring a bandage but there isn't the option

Have you completed the quest "Disallowed substance"?

There's multiple places scattered across the game where it's valuable to have a couple of bottles of bonemeal on you.

Plus it's required for doing trusting an outsider in Vilegard

Then why are you doing the "thief apprentice" quest before "disallowed substance"? The thief apprentice comes so far after disallowed substance.

because I was trying to mix the order of the quests and by the way now i have completed the ruthless crackshot quest but still i haven't done disallowed substance it was hard but i did it

Sure, it's an open world but this is a great example of the prerequisites that are built into the quests.

You should expect a lot more of things like this where you've skipped some of the lower level quests that we used as prerequisites for some of the advanced quests.
Most of these prerequisites block you out of the quest completely, but some like the one that you're referring to block you during the middle of the quest. There's not many of those. In fact, I'm not a huge fan of those.

No need to find the priest anymore. It's too late for Fanamor by now.
