I am glad to see that there are real consequences to taking the NoFG for myself.

No, it's not about just the necklace. You betrayed and robbed their vault and you ruined your relationship with them.
Even amongst thieves, you've been outcasted.

What about snitching them out about their base (Night Visit Quest).i guess that's really too much for them. Or ist it not?
Since the consequence isnt even there for now.

Your decision to rob them in wanted men was "the straw that broke the camel's back"

So it is about the NoFG, in that there is no path to ever possessing it and having any hope of continuing any further quests with the TG. The TG trained me to steal, kill, and kidnap (knocking out and half starving a female to get it done). I have never seen a quest categorically shut down, without some way to reconciliation. No path back? Can I give the worthless NoFG back and move forward somehow?

I bested the TG at thier own game. No path forward.

There's a lot of assumptions in your remarks.

It's not "about the NoFG". It's about your disloyalty and dishonesty. "In the Guild, there's honor amongst thieves" and you broke that honor.

The NoFG is not unique, so you could find one in the future.

The reason why you haven't seen a quest in the past being categorically shut down is because you haven't been punished for your choices before. Hence consequences.

As I said at the beginning, "I am glad to see that there are real consequences to taking the NoFG for myself." I have other characters who are a bit more loyal who will be paying a new visit to the TG, looking for more work. Ty!
