I don't think it's any different than real life. There are priests that try to feed the homeless and there are ones that ruin the lives of children. The religion itself doesn't make someone good or bad, it just provides excuses for them to do whatever they're doing.

but my point was that
if good players get rewards for being REALLY good
then evil players should get rewards for being REALLY evil!!!

As much as I'd love that it wouldn't be fair, unless they gave you no experience of course. I wish there were some super baddies that gave up 10k exp...
