No I believe the marker is 1000 sp gems or 500 rocks.
True the marker is at 1,000 (SPG) & 500 (SR) but since i have Magic Finder my marker is lower than the normal one.

Mf of 2 means your marker is closer to what, 900 instead of 1000? Whatever the math works out to be, but certainly is not 500.

This doesn't mean it will now take 500 ps gems. For that you would need close to 100 in MF.

Good question. The ShaF I guess. I want to make the RoL my primary weapon even though the ELyR makes my AC &BC & AD higher. with that said, I might go back to Iqhan to grind for a couple of additional levels so I can build my AD and AC up. But I need to take a break. Wife is not happy with the amount of time I spend playing.
