What is marrowtaint?

My lv 23 all out offense is grinding for ROLS, my lv 19 def&balance typeis grinding for ROL, which leaves my lv14 crit type the job of trying to go to Remgard.

So far, no success. Can't go pass the troll brutes. So I still don't know what marrow taint is.

Marrowtaint is ;

Item which you can get (if you schoose right side ) in one of the high level quest currently available. IMO you are no chance to get this one untill your character is level 30-50

Well darn it; I killed that chick too. Think I may have an alternate character for doing opposing quests, but that one is prob at 20 trains [and it was a long stretch of grinding from 20-35]. Ah well.. I'll do it both ways when I get bored enough.

After reading about Marrowtaint, I just had to have it. I went back to an earlier save, and went to the dark side.

I lost both of the new legendary items, and 3 levels, and now have to go to the demon caves all over again. The good news is that I gained the new legendary items back, twofold on the robe.

The Marrowtaint is definitely nice, just from the fact that its a better version of the best necklace in the game, but if you go with the light side, you get a nice hat that works well with critical builds, and the potential to upgrade equipment.

One of the (many) great things about the previous update was the unlimited save slots. Every time there's a choice I've been splitting off to see where each leads, while still keeping my main game, and my main secondary game.

It depends on your fighting style, though. I used my defence balance build to get the marrow taint and now I don't even use it. My defence type uses super high damage resistance and block chance, and he uses the necklace of the protector instead. So I guess it depends on your fighting style, whether it's useful or not.
