Some legendary item questions

Now, I decided to grind for a legendary item. I'm not so sure if I should hunt the Wyrm Trainers for the ElyR or the Kazaul Imps for the RoL. I think, the RoL is a great item to heal but the AC and AD is much lower than the ElyR.
What's your opinion?

By the way, when I was at the homepage of Google Play, I was surprised that AT has become so popular that it's on the "recommendations" screen. Nice!!!

I'd certainly go for the RoL.

I prefer the unique ability, while the ElyR only gives you bonusses you could just as well gain by levelling. I've only used the Elyr when I was grinding for the RoL.

While I consider them both quite useful, I find the ElyR slightly edges out the ROL, but depending on what skills you have, and how many Minor potion of speed vials you have.

Assuming you have the Jewel of Fallhaven equipped:
ElyR increases your Max AP by 2, so if you're at 10 AP, you now have 12 and get 3 attacks per turn (since the AP cost is 4 with JoF).
If you have Combat Speed level 2, it increases your Max AP to 14. By itself this doesn't help any, but if you take a speed potion, then your max becomes 16 so you get 4 attacks per turn.
If you have Combat Speed level 2 and Cleave level 1, and you attack 2 monsters, the 3 AP from killing the first one will give you enough AP for a 4th strike. Or with Cleave level 2, you'd get enough AP for 2 more attacks after the first kill.

But the ROL is very helpful because you can kill a lot of low AC monsters to restock your HP.

So really, I would go for both.

IMO, this is not even a question for debate. The RoL is by far and away the best weapon in the game and is a very close second to the RoLS for best item in the game.
The uniqueness of the RoL elevates this item ahead of the ELyR and ever other item for that matter.
I respect Mino's opinion, but total AP is not the end-all-be-all.

Overall, I think you're right Tek. I just tend to only switch to the ROL when I need to heal up because I feel like I'm not using all my AP when I have it equipped.

Plus, I like the little skull symbol from the "bless" condition of the ElyR, even though its mostly outdone by the Balanced Steel Sword in terms of AP cost and AC, and extra attacks from Cleave

No one can lower my HP below 180 while using RoL

Rol wins in my book. Waaay better effects from it, the lifegaining power of it makes it worth hunting down.
