I am not concerned about the high score anymore
I am enjoying building my "Antison" hero as a defensive minded build like I originally set out to do with Tek before the legendary &extraordinary items and the high score clouded my vision and derailed that goal. I will not let these things occur again with "Antison" and that is why I clear and reload when hunting for the RoL and the ELyR.
Equipped:
Valugha's shimmering hat
Villain's leather armour
Jewel of Fallhaven
Quickstrike dagger
Crude wooden buckler
Villain's ring (x2)
Leather gloves of attack
Woodcutter's boots
Skills (in order taken, from what I remember, 1 each unless noted otherwise):
Increased Fortitude, Regeneration, Corpse Eater, Weapon Accuracy, Hard Hit, Cleave, Combat Speed (2), More Criticals, Evasion (2), Quick Learner (10)
I was originally planning to use my next 10 skill points on Quick Learner to get to level 20 (double the XP per kill), but my new plan is to use the next 5 on Taunt (4 on Dodge, then 1 for Taunt), the one after that on Evasion level 3, then 2 for Magic Finder, before going to back to increasing Quick Learner until I hit level 20 of that.
Thanks for the post Mino! I've been meaning to find out where you got your 1 in 4 critical chance thingy when you talked about it in a thread I posted.
Pyrizzle recently took taunt and he was not too impressed. I would reconsider your choice unless your dead set on it (can't image grinding so many levels like you have yet for those skill points)
Why not enhanced combat boots over woodcutters? And will you wear SRoV over the villian's when you get it? Otherwise, looking good!

Yeah, after seeing Pyrizzle's evaluation of Taunt, I'm reconsidering it. Especially if I end up able to kill everything on my first attack, it might not be worth it.
So now I'm thinking of getting that 3rd level of Evasion, that I had put off for QL, and then 2 levels of Magic Finder. After that, I think I might go back to Quick Learner, or maybe go for Taunt. I could still use the BC boost since I haven't used any level ups on it, so I might get 4 Dodge and then decide on taunt after that.
Yes, I plan to wear the SRoV once I get it, since it offers the same -1 AP move cost, but also more AC.
The reason I'm not wearing enhanced combat boots (or fine gloves of swift attack) is that this is meant to be a "base" character, so I haven't done any quests that require choosing a side yet, and some of the better items require completing those quests to be able to buy them. I want to have all the L&E items first before splitting off into different saves. I didn't do that the first time around which is why my first game is at level 122 with all L&E but my 2nd game is only around level 50 and with no L&E items.
I knew you were trying to avoid quests with sides, but I forgot that to get into Remgard you have to pick a side lol. Maybe I was just too distracted by the Marrowtaint to care.
