If you get caught, you can either fight with the guard (and get Actor condition: Wanted, where for every bonemeal potion u use, u lose 50 Gold as a fine) or get arrested and lose your existing bonemeal.
Also, the priest will refuse to give you any more BMP (you have lost his trust), until you complete a very difficult quest of regaining his trust.
The catch: you cannot use bonemeal potion during the quest.
