Poison gland for Gruil

How can I bring Gruil to ask me for help for the "Poison gland"? So far there's only the choice for trading goods.

if you have it in your inventory,
it should trigger a new dialogue option...
one to "give" him the gland.

Unfortunately it doesn't. I've even sold him one once. Besides if I haven't one in the inventory there should be an dialog option for getting one.

Ask him about the thieves guild.. then he'll say somethin like you bring me the poison gland and I'll tell you.. then you give him the poison gland..

You might have to go too Fallhaven and ask around about the thieves guild there first then go back to Crossgen. Before going to Fallhaven I don't think our character is aware of the guild.

I've been to Fallhaven, even tried to talk to Gaela and Bucus. So far no effect.
