Since I am only level 38 I just kill the Gargoyle cave, save and go do other things :-) a RoLS should drop some day. I really do not feel like using skillpoints in MF, might do that with a build that doesn't do the quests where you have to choose sides. Going to get Dr. Bob an allround character with a lot of levels, they come by themselves :-P but who knows, I might gt bored and try the save and load method for finding certain items. For now I feel that as a waste of xp.

Um, i tried editing the source code and it worked for me, i was able to change the droprate of legendary and extraodinary items to 10% droprate.

Fair enough, level 40 with 738 small rocks and no RoLS yet, but I just kill all the rooms a couple of times a day until I have one or two of those damned rings :-)

I understand that you do not want L+E items become really useful, not to be “required” during survival (except RoLS). Thus, - IMO - they are mainly useless (I still do not understand how can something become legendary if the shop goods are far better???). As mepuri wrote, they are kind of trophy items for the grinding. But if so, why not give for grinding something useful, like map pieces? E.g. there should be 10 map pieces with the same finding conditions, and if someone can collect all of them, that would open a hidden part of the game or some new missions, etc.

This is a really cool Idea! It could also be a key that has been broken into many pieces. Drop rate could be the same as an extraordinary item and there could be 4-5 pieces scattered throughout the various maps. This would make MF even more valuable and will give something other than just a piece of trophy equiipment. This could be a grinding dream (or nightmare) cause the map or key would open up another area of the game that would contain 2 other legendary level items that you can only grind for if you have already collected the pieces. Maybe we can finally get that legendary armor that we all have been waiting for.
