I haven't found ROL yet, and I think it still will take some time until it's dropped

The Rol is powerful because you are healing 1-3 points of health every hit, and 3 points of health upon the death of the creature.

So for instance my Char that is grinding can get about 6-12 health back if I kill the monster in one set of attacks. That does not include Corpse Eater which would add another 1-whatever points. So you are healing for a red potion every time you fight a monster and kill them in one round.

If you don't kill them in one round... then it gets even better. If the monster misses then you just healed for about 3-9 points (plus 2 if you have the RoLS)

What does it all add up to? The monster will have to do a minimum of 9 damage to you (not including your DR) just to scratch you and then you just get that health right back and don't have to spend any AP on potions.

very well said fire7051....the ROL is awesome for that exact reason..you may never need to use a potion again, at least in version 0.6.12. the ElyR has no use in it's current state, better off using the BSS or QSD for non crits, and DotSp for crits.
