Or save and reload a lot. If you can get somewhere, you can get back, eventually, as long as you don't rely entirely on potions to get HP back. This is an excellent example of why I consider one level of Re to be a must have skill.

Kydlow, Regen skill's effect also stacks with Sustenance. So if you have Regen at lvl 1, then use Cooked Meat, you get 4hp back per round (3 seconds) for 11 rounds when no monsters are adjacent in lieu of the 3hp from the food alone.

There's no way to get cooked meat where Kydlow is. There's not even a significant source of just meat.
