there are far too many, more potent skills available.
(unless used to unlock future skills)
WA & HH are both just a little too weak, IMHO.
mid-game: they are considered wasted points.

maybe we could bump them up a bit? (again)

in a similar, but different direction:
[maybe show what 'locked skills' the 'open skills' will unlock?]
example: when the player is reading about Increased Fortitude,
they see that it's the first step towards Regeneration
the players will be making more informed decisions & having a better time
we could also have an empty box in the skill list,
so they player knows that there are "extra skills' - right out of the gate...
it might keep people playing?
