The white lettering is easier to read. No shield logo in either? Or ate they *really* transparent?

I meant for vertical alignment, not the horizontal one.
Anyway, diss that, lower-right looks great indeed.
I also prefer ace's font to nyktos', but the coloring looks better on nyktos'....

Looks great ace, but I really believe a darker shade of red would do wonders. Try #960016.
I like this font, as discussed way earlier, and secured the author's written authorization to use it for free in bitmaps for Andor's Trail.

I just noticed the extremely transparent shield logo. That doesn't work. It's so close to invisible that unless someone knows what it is supposed to be, it just looks like a graphics error.

Right. I didn't see it until your post, and I looked for a couple of seconds before finding it. Maybe smaller (like 1/3 of what you have) size, full color logo at the top left could do. Or you can leave it out altogether.
