I keep hearing about the names of caves and stuff but I don't know where they are at or even if I have found it yet it would be nice if when u enter a town or cave it would pop up a notification saying where you have entered so you know where its at and keep it in mind for further use. But my question is where is the gargoyal cave u get the rols from and where r the other cave and how do u know if that's the right cave

That link tells you where the gargoyle cave is.

I like the idea of that information popping up in the game as long as it is a passive notification. By that I mean I don't want it to interrupt the main game screen to tell me that information, like a simple text message across the top or bottom of the screen I think would suffice.

Yes that's exactly what I mean kinda like the notification that pops up for after battles or something in that area but prefferably on the top of the screen to catch ur attention so u see it and ur hand or thumb ain't in the way lol

I agree too. I know when I first started after the RoLS I worried that I was in the wrong cave wasting my time.

something passive/non-interactive would be a nice touch, but not a necessity.

when i go home, i dont get a prompt
but in games i do...

im good with leaving it alone, or adding (again) something passive/non-interactive
dont wanna cut into game flow, or take away from immersion

(dont forget the little people / tiny screens)

The only problem I see with putting a name-plate on a cave is that people use several names for some of them. As: snake cave or serpent cavern, Jan's cave or Iragatu's cave, canine cave or wolf cave, and I don't know what the cave on the way to find out what happened to Rincel is called--the boar cave? There is probably an official name in the code, but it the same as the common name(s)?
It seems fairly obvious to me that if you are in a cave filled with gargoyles in the location described for the gargoyle cave, you are indeed in the gargoyle cave. This game does not try to trick you by having two nearly-identical caves near each other, so that there is a right and a wrong gargoyle cave.
