Can't finish old friends Quest

Hey there, just startet to play Andor's Trail a few month ago.
I finished the quest missing parts and decided to kill Vacor instead of Unzel.
But now I am trying to finish the old friends? quest. I met Kaverin in Remgard, went to Unzel but he is only thankful for helping with Vacor and that we are save now.
There is nothing else he says.
Does anyone knows anything on this? Did not find this situation in the forums.

Only one:
I met Kaverin in Remgard, that apparently is an old acquaintance of Unzel, who lives outside of Fallhaven.

I went to Unzel, but he did not interact with me. Thank you for your time.

Kaverin should have given you a message. If you did not get the message, you can't interact further with Unzel. You need to go back to Kaverin and get that message.

That's a long journey, but at least you will get some XP

I am having a huge problem regarding the completion of this quest!
I too didn't have the message the first time and had to go back all the way to remgard to speak to Kaverin. But the huge problem is he doesn't give me the message no matter what I do. I have gained a lot of XP in between and cannot afford to play over again. Please fix the problem developer.

Well I solved it! Where the problem lay was actually the fact that I had not killed Vacor before loitering in Remgard. I had thought of keeping both Unzel and Vacor intact in order to see the outcomes of both ways later on, but now I was compelled to kill Vacor and then went back to Remgard and he gave me that item. Took me a whole lot of time despite having one damage=100 HP and a total of 3 such at a time.
1) Please create a lil bit short cut to Remgard. My legs are literally aching walking up and down.
2) Since I cannot play over and kill Unzel, so just asking you what would have been the scenario of the "Old Friends" quest had I killed Unzel instead?

Okay so it works both ways... And moreover, is this one of the developers or moderators replying? Cuz if you are a dev, can you plz consider making a shortcut to Remgard?
