Also don't forget the Loneford trick. You can do this after you do the Crossglen quest and most of Fallhavn quest. You can level alot quicker. Then go do the Vilegard area. Then do the prison. Then bwn area then Stoutford. It's much easier to level that way without the need to heal from food or potions

It worked still with the update. I made a new character then
