Thanks again Samuel for keeping this up
and kpedro.. im just behind you Nowadays im on the road without any items, just for fun. What you think about some fun challenge between You and me Final goal 50M exp, you choose what items we can use in level 137 and I in level 138, etc
Why you don't use the BWM collection with BW Misery. Or the worst items available. (One of the 10 AP Hammers )

2) As I never really believed in, or supported the inclusion of experience points being posted in a signature due to my view of them only taking up valuable space away from your allotted 255 characters, and basically having little relevance to ones stats (partially due to being updatable upon every login to the forum), I today, saw their true potential. That "potential" is now an additional reason for me to find no value in its presence or purpose, as it currently exists. I'd like to believe that this is more than just my opinion, but at least is shared on my part, for the benefit of the other players. If a player's experience points are going to be the method of measurement to determine rank on the list, then a standard must be established regarding when the player posts it, whether or not it should be allowable or a requirement for a player to update, and at what intervals, etc. For example, at best, a player can stop, save, and exit his or her game play the very moment the Hero icon is illuminated from acquiring the necessary experience points to level up, and then doing so, but only if you are not currently in battle with a mob. Therefor, the use of experience points can never truly be an accurate form of measurement, and even more so at times, are misleading.
I fear I may be one of the confused people you are talking about. It seems to me as though the reason to include XP is the exact reason you cited: two players could be at level 159, one 1 XP after leveling, and the other 1 XP away from leveling to 160... The current system used to populate the list is based on level first then experience as a tie breaker as evidenced by the player that incorrectly entered his XP but remaining on the list based on his level. I think this should be amended to start with or possibly only use XP as this would also correct for players who had "saved" levels. Also, we do not need to require people to update; if they don't care enough to update regularly, they obviously don't care too much about where they fall on the list...
If you are confused, I cannot account as to why, even after rereading my entire post. I did make a reference to experience points being "misleading" in terms of being an accurate form of measurement, but not in terms of it causing someone to be in a state of confusion.
Essentially, what I derived from your post is that you are in favor of an accurate system of measurement to be sufficiently adequate for establishing a clear leader in the event of a tie, which leads me to believe you are speaking more from the perspective of one that favors the competitive aspect, perhaps to a fine point. The main point that I was attempting to establish was that to use experience points without a standard itself being established, involves too much irregularity to qualify as a method of measurement. An individuals XP is manually submitted and not timestamped in any fashion to know when a person achieved a particular amount, or what amount of XP the player has currently accrued in order to determine the actual leader at one particular moment in time.
When players are so close in level and XP, the only, or at least the most accurate way to know who may truly be in the lead is to manually bring up and view their signature from one of their posts, or from their profile page. My main concern that motivated my post being submitted was for those who took the whole high score issue way too seriously, almost to the point that it defines or establishes the goal of the game. Obviously every player has their own reason for making time to play any game they give their time to. My hope is that no one ever becomes so overly concerned with the competition aspect that they miss out on all that Andor's Trail in particular, has to offer.
If you don't like the all the competitiveness, just do us all a favor and either take your stats out of your signature or stop your whining. I am so tired of reading about your displeasure surrounding the highscore list.
You talk of playing for the enjoyment, but you don't sound like you are.

I'm not saying that there should or should not be a competition, nor am I saying that I am overly concerned with said competition. It may give one something to do whilst grinding away the days. What I am saying, however, is that if there is going to be a friendly (or competitive for some who view it that way) competition for high score it should be based on the most accurate measurement. Since the level is based off experience, but does not give a precise measurement of experience (either because levels were "saved" or because levels span a lot of experience) there is no reason that should be used over just the experience points. Additionally, a player most likely does not update one more than the other. Furthermore, if the player was really concerned with their rank on the list, they'd update more regularly. In conclusion, if anything could be used to accurately rank players, it would be experience. Anybody who wants to participate, can, but nobody should take any of it serious because none of what anyone else does matters one tiny bit.

As he's said numerous times, it was requested that he put his stats in his signature, he didn't want to be in the competition, so he hides them in a spoiler. For how concerned you are with what he has to say, I'd think you'd know that.
I will admit with great pride that I am very competitive, but I fully understand that this list means nothing in the real world. By no means is being in the top 6 make my real world any better or worse. With that said, I immediately update my signature upon leveling up. Not because I have to, but because I love comparing my stats to all of your's as that comparison adds a little more to the game.
Congratulations to kpetro for grabbing the top spot this week!
Also to TEK, CHEST_ROCKFIELD, AND CTNBEH13: This converstation ENDS now. The tone of this conversation is turning nasty as it goes on. This is a friendly forum, if you wish to attempt for the top spots in the HIGH SCORE LIST please do so, but keep in mind that if someone doesn't wish to compeat they are not required to in any way shape or form. (If you guys continue to adress eachother in this way i will be forced to take actions accordingly)
CTNBEH13: you may remove your stats from your signature if you wish, no one will hold it against you if you do.
As it pertains to the high score list, I believe my posts, in summary, were essentially commentary on the two types of competitiveness, the good clean fun type (healthy) and the compulsory, bitter, and sometimes verbally abusive based type (unhealthy).
My dialog with Chest_Rockfield was in the form partially mirroring my understanding of his perspective, with him having the opportunity to clarify any misunderstanding on my part. I also attempted to elaborate on my previous post to offer clarification. I would like to believe that he did not interpret my post as being anything more, as I have engaged in personal conversations with him previously.
I'm disappointed that the content of my posts have been ironically the more recent source of the very issue I was attempting to identify and prevent, when all I intended to do is introduce dialog for establishing an accurate as possible, honor based system for giving those who have dedicated the time to excel in the development of their character, proper recognition. kpetro and Sarumar have displayed healthy competition, that for those of us that support one another, have found inspiring and entertaining.
