Agree. I was simply trying to clarify what each of us was trying to say as the written word can be difficult tool to use to accurately convey information at times.

I honestly do not feel like I created any negativity. If anything, I was trying to explain something that had been mentioned previously in an attempt to diffuse negativity. I apologize if it did not seem that way.

I finally did it! I gained over a million experience in one day! And I didn't barely do it, I actually gained one and a quarter million experience. The crazy part is that if I did this every day for the rest of 2011, I still may not be #1 on the High Score list.

Thanks all for your well wishes for my recent ascent in the list, especially Sarumar for the friendly competition and ctnbeh13 for your wise council.

In order to keep the spirit of competition friendly, I propose a new competition with a change in focus from mindless grinding (which I am very guilty of ) to skillful play.

I think it would be more fun to challenge players to start a new character and solve all the current (solavable) quests with as few experience points as possible. Not only would it challenge us to use our time and effort wisely, the "Lowscore" list is one available to all and everyone has an equal chance to "win" in about the same time without having to catch up to players like me that have a 6 month head start.

Strategy would be most important in achieving the "Lowscore", including choosing not to grind for legendary items, and selecting skillpoints that aid the players in quickly completing the quests and not just making it easier to kill monsters or gain levels.

Does anyone else have ideas on this?

I had started a new character with the new release and I still haven't updated my old character's stats. But as an idea, (might be too much work) start a new high score list for the new release for those that started new characters. Highscore 6.10. This would then give us better insight into each others stats and see who has used the best strategy with the skill points without being mixed in with pre 6.10 release characters.

Good idea.

The List must contain:
- Player
- experience (perhaps level)
- version he finished (like 0.6.10, 0.6.11) - perhaps also include the number of quests solved (to make sure everyone did all quests)
