I can't view the world map!

Yup, me neither. The world map takes a long time to load about 75%, then the browser FC. Must be getting at web server timeout exception, I will try later on my PC.

Tried it 5 or 6 times on my DROIDX.

The worldmap opened all right on my phone: Motorola droid2 global. Android 2.2.

There is an issue with the map link - if you click on the picture (thumbnail) of the world map, it takes more to get to the file.

Try clicking the description below the map - that should take you directly to the actual map.

Please note that this is a large file - 5MB in .gif format. It will probably get bigger and bigger.

Is there any way to make a map out of screen shots?? I wouldn't have the slightest clue how to start because I don't know how to take screen shots on my phone, but I do have Photoshop to put them all together.

There's apps but they all require root.
But apparently Android 4.0 lets you screen shot without root.

I have been clicking on the description. Error occurs either way.

there are two ways of doing that:
1) if you have root then just install the app from market (IMO screenshot ER is the best )
2) if you do not have root access then there are apps which let you take screenshots via pc(via USB or browsers).

Would anyone who is having problems getting the map to show please give me more details on what is happening? Are you getting an error? Does your browser simply lock up?
