Maybe later you'll be able to convert them ;).

That would be fun.
Yes it would....I can figure out who would want that, but have not thought about how....
Maybe instead of converting them we can go full on crusade. Once we reach Feyguard or Nor City we can chose a side and destroy the non-believers!
 Convert to Kazual or Die [/quote]

Nor City was who I had in mind for wanting to convert then, yes.

A crusade, might be hard to work into game mechanics, unless it's a single handed one, but an interesting thought...

I'm definitely curious what the religious leanings of Feygard will turn out to be. Or will they have none, trying to suppress all religions? Will there be churches at all there?

And for this we'll need faction-based interactions, map changing after a certain quest stage and of course quest stage based NPC placement.

Then it'll be possible.
Then it'll be done.

The world is about to blow-up. Welcome to Andor's Trail War of Religions

Lord of the Light, I offer you my sword.

 Don't make me Defile you

Adding Factions is possible? If that happens then I think I might actually just burst from the excitement. I have been dreaming of a game that could do this well. I have always loved war games where the enemy can lose their territory. The number one reason I do not play WOW is if I march into a city I want that city to be mine. I don't want to be in enemy territory and not be able to take it over.

Ahhh, it is fun to "take over" a city and enslave the peasents. The only 'good' rpg I ever played that allowed the outright take over of cities is skyrim, and even then you can't personally run/control the city.

There have been other games that allow the same before Skyrim. You are never allowed to "run" the city but it will allow you to recieve discounts in the stores and other bonuses for (and I use the term loosely) Liberating those cities. I don't think it will ever happen in AT (it just doesn't seem to fit at this time), but I would be happy for more world changing events. Maybe Crossglen is destroyed by a dragon that Andor releases?

Oh BTW Crossglen is destroyed.

I actually like the idea though.... Mer (I think it was him) had an idea of a merhcant town, that was more focused on finances than religion, maybe that city could contain a merger of his idea and this one.... just a thought.

EDIT: it was Mer and the city is to be called Sullengard. It is in a thread titled Sullengard if you wish to take a look.
