I played Wazhack.
It has clever combat and magic system inherited from its parent Nethack. Very challenging game, but more humanized and forgiving than Nethack. Still, a lot of things are hidden and could be observed only if you experimenting. But this way you can gain real power.
Played Gurk 1 but didn't risk to try 2 because first one was very short for me.
