As his name suggests i am going to lvl block, use heavy armour, go for weapon and shield style and get some DR going on with skills.

When does bc level out? around 300% like ac?

I'm at 140% BC now combined with 10 DR, not many mobs hit or if they hit, hurt me. Leaves the mobs with crithit and actor conditions

If I can finally find a RoL, I will get 1h sword proficiency so I can switch with RoL.

Yup, according to the monster list you would need 162% BC to equal the AC of the top AC monster.

Chance to hit formula
The chance to hit in Andor's Trail v0.6.11 is calculated in the following way: Determine the attacker's chance to hit. Call this A. (This value may be greaten than 100)
Determine the target's block chance. Call this B.
Calculate C = A - B
Calculate F = 50 * (1 + (2/pi) * ATAN( (C - 50) / 40 ) )
This function will produce a number between 0 and 100.
If C is 50, then F will be 50.
If C is high (the attacker's chance to hit is higher than the target's block chance), then F will be near 100.
If C is low, then F will be 50.
The chance to hit (in percent) is F.

This same formula works for determining both your chance to hit a monster and for the monster's chance to hit you.

In simple terms, C (monster's AC - your BC) needs to equal about -73 in order for the monster to have a 10% chance to hit you. So in order to max your block chance you would need at least 162 + 73 = 235% BC. Fortunately, even a BC of 167 would cause the highest AC monster to only have a 20% chance to hit you.

Hello. I'm new to forum. Been playing AT for about 3weeks now. Cant seem to stop. lol I'm currently lvl 41 and have finished every quest possible. I'm currently grinding for a RoL! My current build is a def helmet,serp hauberk, JoF, Remgard Shield that has been enhanced, RoLS, Rem Boots, Heavy plated gloves, RoSE, Flagstones pride. Also at my disposal is the xul'viir, and polished RoB. Can anyone recommend something to make my build better?
