Daggers proficiency gone?

Playing a new build and I could have sworn there used to be the option to level up daggers proficiency. Now I can only see "one-handed swords proficiency" which only specifies rapiers, longswords and broadswords. Do daggers count now as one-handed swords too? Or is there no skill for daggers?

Dagger proficiency is a separate skill, but it's still there.

It's only a skill that's available to you later in the game.
